Hot punch
4 egg yolks,1 cup of rum,milk,4 tablespoons of sugar,4 egg whites beaten to a froth
Beat four egg yolks with a cup of rum and add two long tumblers of boiling milk, four tablespoons of sugar and four egg whites beaten to a foam.

Machetadas (Corn fritters)
4 cups of flour,4 tablespoons of cooking fat,1 teaspoon of salt,half a cup of lukewarm water,4 flat tablespoons of sugar,1 egg
Knead a dough as if you were going to make flour tortillas. Once the tortillas are made, grab a knife and make a three to four cuts from the center outward. Carefully put the tortillas in a pot containing piping hot pork fat and let them fry for a few minutes until they’re all brown on both sides. You could have them with either coffee, butter of honey.

Meat pies
1 lb of ground pork meat,1 big onion,5 cloves of garlic,1 sweet pepper,2 big tomatoes,salt and pepper,potatoes diced and cooked,1 cup of sweet wine,vinegar,one and a half lb of cooking fat or oil, The Dough 4 cups of flour,cooking oil,salt and pepper,1 teaspoon of soft drink
Cut the meat, either ground or diced, as a sausage and add vinegar. Fry in plentiful cooking fat, oil, tomatoes, diced onions and torn cloves of garlic.In a different bowl and once the meat is done, fry the potatoes in tiny dices and add the meat in pork fat. Pour some wine.The dough is kneaded using all spices. Fold the tortilla and press on the borders to make it solid. Fry in piping hot cooking oil. Serve with sliced cabbage.
