El incremento de viajes al extranjero desde diversos mercados de origen potenció los ingresos del turismo internacional en 2018, para un total de USD 1,7 billones, revela un nuevo informe de la Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT).

Foster Tourism Promotion in Central America Travel Market

The Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador along with 10 Salvadoran businessmen participated in the Central American Travel Market (CATM), the most important tourist marketing event for the region that took place this year in Guatemala.

Both the Salvadoran delegation and delegations from other nations of the region gave an incentive to the promotion and promotion of tourism and to the integration of Central American tourism.

Puerto Plata: Cruise Modality Runs Full Train

Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, recorded the visit of 365 257 peoplefrom January to May, from that total 273 399 were cruisers and 91 858 crew members; which indicates that there are good prospects for making this location a leading destination for cruise tourism.

Julio Almonte, Vice Minister of Tourism for the Northern Zone, informed that for the next 2020 the second port of cruises Taíno Bay will begin its operations that will allow the operation to Puerto Plata like the only point of the Caribbean with two terminals of cruises.

Participants Ratified in HostelCuba 2019 Their Interest in Business Opportunities

The III International Exhibition for Restaurants, Hotels and Tourist Services (HostelCuba 2019), which took place in Havana, was a space where participants knew  the development and business opportunities of tourism and bet on the Caribbean island.

Ricard Zapatero, Director of Fira Barcelona International, one of the sponsors of HostelCuba 2019 along with the Ministry of Tourism, expressed in the conclusions of the date that Havana can be considered as one of the exhibition grounds for the events organization in the Latin America region.
