A promotional strategy and new actions by institutions of the leisure industry aspire to make Brasilia the gateway of foreign tourists to Brazil.
The Brazilian Tourism Institute along with the Government of the Federal District and the private initiative aim to take advantage of the high potential of the federal capital, Cultural Heritage of Humanity and cradle of modern architecture, to promote Brasilia as an international tourist destination and an important pole in the collection of events.
From this month, four new direct flights will arrive in that city, coming from Cancun, Santiago, Lima and Asunción (from October, through Latam), thus they will be added to the already existing ones that come from Lisbon, Miami, Buenos Aires, Orlando and Panama.
According to the proposed strategy, travelers who choose Brazil can know at least two destinations, without additional costs, and extend the stay up to five days in the country.
In addition to Brasilia, the first cities included in the program are Recife (PE), Salvador (BA), Fortaleza (CE) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
