El gasto promedio de los turistas internacionales en México se incrementó significativamente en enero,  cuando reportó 1,014.9 dólares, 19.3 por ciento más que en igual período del año precedente, según cifras citadas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi).

Mexico will have greater air coverage, with new direct flights from Istanbul, Turkey, through the Turkish Airlines to Mexico City and Cancun, Quintana Roo from next August, reported Miguel Torruco Marques, Secretary of Tourism.

He announced that Sectur takes actions to increase air coverage essential to strengthen the country's tourism.

The company Iberostar will consolidate its growth during 2019 supported by hotels located in tourist destinations in the Caribbean, after a 9% growth in turnover from the previous year globally.

Fin Ackermann, Iberostar's corporate commercial director, expressed confidence in this increase, as the company has about 14,000 rooms in the Caribbean distributed mainly in Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Currently, the company is finalizing the opening of its first hotel in Aruba.

La compañía Iberostar afianzará su crecimiento durante 2019, apoyada  en hoteles enclavados en destinos turísticos del Caribe, tras un crecimiento del 9% en su facturación del año precedente a nivel global.

Fin Ackermann, director comercial corporativo de Iberostar, expresó su confianza en ese incremento, pues la empresa cuenta con  unas 14 mil habitaciones en el Caribe distribuidas fundamentalmente en  Cuba, México y República Dominicana.

Manuel Marrero, Minister of Tourism, announced that Cuba reached one million tourists on Sunday, March 3, five days ahead of the previous year's total.

In his Twitter account, the head of the leisure industry wrote: we ratify the commitment to exceed 5 millions, convinced of the contribution to the growth of the economy and the consolidation of Cuba as a destination for peace, health and security.

Una mayor cobertura aérea tendrá México, con nuevos vuelos  directos de Estambul, Turquía, mediante la aerolínea Turkish Airlines a la Ciudad de México y Cancún, Quintana Roo, desde agosto próximo,  informó Miguel Torruco Marqués, secretario de Turismo.

Anunció que Sectur lleva a cabo acciones para incrementar la cobertura aérea, fundamental para fortalecer la actividad turística del país.

Manuel Marrero, ministro de turismo, dio a conocer  que Cuba llegó al millón de visitantes extranjeros este domingo 3 de marzo, con lo cual se adelantó cinco días a la fecha registrada en el año precedente cuando totalizó esa cifra.

En su cuenta de Twitter, el titular de la industria del ocio escribió:  ratificamos el compromiso de superar los 5 MM, convencidos del aporte al crecimiento de la economía y a la consolidación de Cuba como destino de paz, salud y seguridad.
