The Dominican Republic to Host COCAL 2021

The Congress of the Federation of The Latin American Congress Organizing Entities (COCAL), in its 2021 edition, will be held in the Dominican Republic.

The venue was confirmed after the presentation of Elizabeth Tovar, president of Turenlaces, a company affiliated to COCAL, to the representatives of other countries.

MICE tourism reports higher revenue per participant in Mexico

Mexico hosts more than 266,000 events of the industry of meetings annually, which are attended by about 29 million participants, who generate an annual economic revenue of $24.97 billion dollars,

The Ministry of Tourism announced that this means 1.50% of the national GDP.

MICE segment travelers spend approximately 53% more than one for pleasure, according to figures from ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) clarified David Hidalgo, Director of IBTM Americas.

Será sede República Dominicana de COCAL 2021

El Congreso de la Federación de Entidades Organizadoras de Congresos de América Latina (COCAL), en su edición de 2021 tendrá como sede a República Dominicana.

La sede fue confirmada luego de la presentación de Elizabeth Tovar, presidente de Turenlaces, empresa afiliada a la COCAL, ante los representantes de otros países.

The elimination of visas for tourists from various countries will favor arrival in Brazil

Citizens of Australia, Canada, the United States and Japan visiting Brazil will not need a visa, according to a measure published in the Official Gazette of that South American nation, which will favor the arrival of tourists.

The note states that travelers from these four countries may enter and stay in Brazil for a period of 90 days, extendable for another 90 days.

The only restriction of the decree is that tourists from these four countries may not stay in Brazil for more than 180 days per year.

Los ciudadanos de Australia, Canadá, Estados Unidos y Japón que visiten Brasil no necesitarán visado, de acuerdo con una medida publicada en el Diario Oficial  de esa nación suramericana, lo cual favorecerá el arribo de turistas.

La nota señala que los viajeros de esos cuatro países podrán ingresar y permanecer en Brasil durante un plazo de 90 días, prorrogables por otros 90.
