Damiana

Damiana is an aromatic herb that grows wild in the arid zones and to which more than 17 healing properties are attributed. Originally from Sinaloa and Baja California, in the latter, the Chemistry engineer, D. García, prepares it at home. In the chronicles of the 16th century the missioners in California published that the natives used to drink it as a tea to restore their energy.

Mescal (Pulque brandy)

The mescal is commonly known in Mexico as Maguey.It’s a Mexican distilled from the juice of aloe and pita plant.It’s a colorless or lightly yellow liquid.

Agave(Century-plant)
This alcoholic drink is obtained from the fermentation and rectification of the original juice of the sugar extracted from the ripe fruit of the century plant (agave) previously hydrolyzed or cooked and submitted to alcoholic fermentation with cultured or non-cultured yeast.

Nanche**A shrub bearing edible fruit

It is a customary drink in the States of Mexico, Veracruz and Campeche.

Drink resulting from the infusion of the so-called fruit (nanche) that gives a special flavor to the sugar cane rum, chili and Mexican tea are also added.
