The Waterfalls of America stand out as natural beauty, that captivate the travelers who contemplate them whether they are those of Iguazú, Niagara, Angel Falls, or Kaeiteur.

Formed from a difference in level between two rock fragments where the water passes and falls, the waterfalls are a gift to the view that every year summons millions of tourists attracted by its majesty.

The Iguazu Falls, which have 275 waterfalls with an average height of 60 meters, attracts millions of visitors each year arriving at this tourist destination located in southern Brazil, at the banks of the Paraná and Iguazú rivers. Since in1986 they have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Niagara Falls are recognized as the most famous in the world and one of the most impressive in America. They are found in the North of America, on the border between the United States and Canada.

They are part of a group of three waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls (in Canada), American Falls (United States) and Bridal Veil Falls, which is the smallest of the three. Located about 236 meters above the sea level, their fall is approximately 64 meters, and they are a World Heritage Site.

El Salto del Angel (Ángel Jump) is located in Venezuela and it is considered the highest waterfall in the world; like the waterfalls of Iguazú which is one of the seven wonders of the natural world and Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.

It has a height of 979 meters, of which 807 meters are uninterrupted waterfall. They are named after a American pilot who flew over the fall of the waterfall and landed on his top.

The pilot's name was Jimmie Angel and he made his adventure in 1937. Perhaps less promoted for being in a South American country that does not stands out like others in the region in terms of tourism, the Keieteur Falls are in the Amazon rainforest region of Guyana, and their largest jump is 225 meters.

Those who have visited them think that the views are wonderful and the landscape is magical because of the remoteness of the place and because they are surrounded of a lush rainforest.
