Biografía: 
Las Villas, 1910 This writer encouraged the poetry since he was young. He wrote some theater plays, but he dedicated to the radio novels. He contributed in Bohemia, Vanidades and many other publications. He was a member of the editorial council of the Isla magazine. This poet mainly deals with the erotic theme in a mimetic and external way; some of his books, as Oasis and Nuevo Oasis, were published several times. Other books he published were Misas paganas, Hyacinthus, La vejez de don Juan, Prometeo, Cantos de Proteo, Poeta enamorado and Maya. He also published several anthologies of his poems. He translated Los Trofeos, by Jose Ma. Heredia and Poemas perversos, by Adrien Roland. His poems have been translated into English, French and Russian. He left the country when the Revolution triumphed.
