Biografía: 
Waldo Chavez Velasco published poems, articles and stories in La Prensa Grafica and Diario Latino newspapers. In 1952, he traveled to Europe where he lived for 15 years. He graduated from Law School at the University of Bologna, only to take post-graduation studies in the Sorbonne in Paris and the University of Madrid.He returned to El Salvador in 1986. He founded and directed El Mundo newspaper. He was also Director General of Culture, Press Secretary, Director of Latino newspaper. He also founded and directed the Seven Days daily. He's been at the helm of different performing groups overseas and in the country. He's the author of several plays, even some unedited ones. Some of his pieces include El Cipitin, Fabrica de Sueños, El Sombrero de Otoño and La Corrupcion y otras Yerbas.

Tips

El crecimiento comercial de Curazao se debió a Peter Stuyvesant, Gobernador de la isla en 1642. Además de dar su nombre a una marca de cigarrillos, llegó a ser Gobernador general de todas las colonias holandesas en el continente americano.
