Biografía:
Havana, 1935 He is a director of documentals and fiction films. Since 1956 until 1958, he worked as the editor of advertising texts, director of Tv programs and chief of production in the Channel 7 of the television. In 1959 he began to work with the ICAIC production assistant. In the late 1960, he organized and directed the Enciclopedia Popular, serie of short films made out for didactic notes. He studied movie direction in the Carolina University of Praga and, when he came back he was entitled director of documentals. He produced some editions of the Latin American ICAIC News. He was promoted to director of fiction film, but he didn`t quit the production of documentals. He is an outstanding documentary maker; his work incluyes the short film "Por primera vez", considered a classic of the Cuban documental movie. In parallel with his work as movie maker, he directs artistic and musical shows. He is a member of the National Council of UNEAC.
