The Dominican Republic has one of the world's largest reserves of amber - petrified sap from trees that grew there 50 million years ago. The largest piece of amber found there weighed 21 pounds (9.5 kg).
The second Tourist Products Fair was opened in Zacatecas, with proposals designed for all tastes in topics of cultural heritage, artistic activities, adventure experiences, and voyages through ancient canteens, streets and nights of sidereal archaeology.
Miguel Torruco, Head of the Federal Ministry of Tourism, said that Zacatecas is the state where the best work has been done in integrating tourism products; thanks to the fact that the decisions in the matter are taken by experts, and in that sense, recognized Governor Alejandro Tello.
He restated his recognition of initiatives such as the Observation of Sidereal Archeology y Zacatecas Flight in Ballons, among some of the most successful promoted by Tello
The second Tourist Products Fair aims to diversify markets, increase economic spill and increase hotel occupancy and average stay
During this event the 48 products that have been created in the current administration will be presented to national and local operators so that they can be better marketed.
