The IX International Gastronomic Seminar Excellences Gourmet will take place from September 25th to 27th in Havana, convened by the Excelencias Group.
As from now, Excelencia invites to participate in this event, that will gather more than 300 prestigious academics, chefs, bartenders, and hall supervisors; sommeliers, suppliers and gastronomic distributors.
Also, private restaurant workerswill participate in this gourmet seminar, as well as entrepreneurs and managers of agencies and entities related to the Cuban HORECA sector and other latitudes.
Prominent personalities who confirmed their attendance as speakers include Alfonso Marín, General Secretary of the Iberoamerican Academy of Gastronomy, Antonella Ruggiero, Director of the AIBG, Guillermo Cruz, best sommelier Spain 2014, Jordi Guillem, world champion of ice cream, and José Antonio Vidal, President of the Spanish Association of Wine Tourism.
Also, Julio Valles, President of the Academy of Gastronomy of Castilla y León, Norma Estela Orozco Sánchez, expert in chocolate and confectionery, Pere Castells, President of the Science and Cooking Word Congress Barcelona; and Pere Planaguma, 2* of Michelin.
The gastronomic seminars organized by ExcelenciasGroup are endorsed by the Ibero-American Academyof Gastronomy (AIBG), from which the Editor of GrupoExcelencias, Don José Carlos de Santiago, is Vice President; and it has the support of the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba (MINTUR), the Professional Training System for Tourism in Cuba (FORMATUR), the Federation of Culinary Associations of the Republic of Cuba, and the Cuban Bar Association and the Cuban Sommelier Club.
