Russian Tour Operators Looking to Dominican Republic

The main Russian tour operators presented the program of flights for the winter season among the cities of Russia and the Dominican Republic, which will begin in October and end in March-April 2020.

According to Turprom, Anex Tour suggests 4 weekly direct scheduled flights from Azur Air on the Moscow route (Vnukovo) – La Romana on Boeing 777-300 aircraft with a capacity of up to 527 passengers.

It also plans, apart from Moscow, direct charter flights from Azur Air between La Romana and St Petersburg once every 11 days, as well as Ekaterinburg once every 14 days,and Kazan once every 14 days. In all directions, except St Petersburg, the design of the cabin will assume the presence of a business class.

On his part, PegasTourstik announced his interest in direct charter flights from Moscow to Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo and Samaná every 10-11 days, operated from Sheremetyevo Airport (Terminal F) by Nordwind Airlines on Boeing 777-300 and Boeing 777-200 aircraft with a capacity of up to 486 passengers.

On August 3rd, Coral Travel will start a route on the wings of the Royal Flight between Moscow and Punta Cana once in 10-11 days, and from October 26, twice a week. The flights will be operated on a Boeing 777 with a two class cabin design for up to 492 passengers.

With an increase in the flight schedule of the above mentioned operators, the flow of passengers from Russia will increase; and fact is the the Russian tourism shows a spiral that is growing every day in the countries of the Caribbean area, despite the geographical distance.
