Positive Ratings Highlight Granada as Tourist Destination

The safety and protection, the friendly treatment of Granadian people and the gastronomic offer of the restaurants were positively valued by those who chose Granada as a Tourist Destination.

According to visitor surveys conducted by the Tourism Authority of Granada (GTA), they also had flattering responses for the climate, the beach, the sites of that Caribbean island and the attractions.

The survey is conducted quarterly in order to ensure that the product and experience of the destination exceed expectations and the results reinforced the enjoyment of visitors, with a high score of those coming from the United States.

Positive responses were also expressed in the Visitor Capital Survey of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), conducted in Granada.

Patricia Maher, CEO of GTA, expressed satisfaction with the comments of visitors who recognized Granada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique as safe and attractive places for their holidays.

Clarice Modeste Curwen, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture, thanked travelers for their comments and referred to the warmth and kindness of Granadian people, as well as the festivals and natural beauties of Destination that guarantee an attractive experience.
