Palma de Mallorca to hold Summit against drunken tourism

A summit against antisocial and drunken tourism will take place early in 2019 in Palma de Mallorca, aimed at debating and designing strategies to control this type of tourist with negative behaviour.

The meeting is scheduled to take place after the Madrid Tourism Fair (Fitur-2019), which will be held from January 23 to 27.

Palma de Mallorca, along with Ibiza are among the most affected by such visitors, who play the leading role in acts that denigrate tourist destinations.

The summit will have to agree on measures to deal with the negative behaviour of visitors who assume inappropriate behaviour when they are in a state of inebriation in the famous poles of the Spanish Mediterranean.
