Biografía:
Holguin His career began in the radio station of his home province as declaimer. Upon getting his degree, he moved to Havana in order to study Laws, but he only finished the first year. He took part in a contest in the Supreme Court of Art and he achieved the Rising Star category. He worked in the Cuban National Circuit, the currently Radio Rebelde, participating in dramatic programs. He joined the Guernica theater group of the Teatro Nacional where he played the leading role in Bodas de Sangre by Garcia Lorca, Las Impuras, by Miguel de Carrion and Las Vacas Gordas, by Abelardo Estorino where he acted and sang. He has played roles in TV in the Classics of the Spanish Golden Century; he has acted in comedies and soap operas. In 1968 plays the Nacho Verdecia of the adventure Los Mambises, serie with more than 200 life episodes which gained popularity among the younger audience. In 1963 he made his first ferformance in the movies with the director Sara Gomez in the film De Cierta Manera Whichwas later taken to the theater and entitled Al duro y sin careta. His character Sargento Arencibia in the famous program San Nicolas del Peladero is quite remembered by the audience.
