Biografía:
This actor began his artistic activities in 1959, in an amateur group on the School of Art and Trade in Havana, participating as amateur in radio and television programs. In 1962, when the National School Art was founded, he entered as student. His productive career as professional actor, promoter, theater director and dramatist began in 1965. He has been a member of famous companies such as Ocuje Teatro Político Bertolt Brech, he has also directed for some years the Artistic Joint of FAR and he founded the Theater of Popular Art. Chapochachin Asere, Asalto a la Guarida, A la orilla de la presa, cantos, lirios, lotos y girasoles and Olufina, are some of the titles of this dramatist work. In the film Ustedes tienen la palabra, in 1973, he made his debut inthe movies. He has also acted in the television in soap operas and some programs. He has carried out artistic tours through the German Democratic Republic, France, Spain, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Belgium. In 2000 he gave courses and workshops of performance in the Committee of Andalucía and the City Council.
