Biografía: 
Matanzas, 1947 He got his degree in Art History in the University of Havana. This caricaturist, cartoons maker, illustrator, comic strips maker and scriptwriter presented his work in the Mella student supplement. He worked as table cameraman in the film section of the FAR and he later published in the Pionero magazine, where his popular character Elpidio Valdes appeared. He began to work in the ICAIC in 1974 as director cartoons. He also created the humorous cartoon series FILMINUTO and QUINOSCOPIO, this one with the contribution of the Argentinian humorist Quino, who created Mafalda. He produced his first full-length film in 1979. He is a member of the UNEAC and the board of directors of it.
