Biografía:
Dª Floria Jimenez Diaz was professor of the National University of Costa Rica and writer of children’s literature. He received the National Prize of Poetry “Aquileo J. Echeverría” awarded by the Culture Department of Costa Rica and the National Prize of Children’s Literature “Carmen Lyra”. He has also received other international prizes in several countries of America. Some examples of her work: “Mirrusquita”, “Me lo conto un pajarito”, “Detras de donde nace el Sol”, “Tortuguita Paz”, “Las Canciones del Viento”, “El Color de los Sueños”, “Galipan y yo”, “Las piedritas magicas” ."
