Cayo Levisa-Cayo Paraíso

On one of the keys to the north of the province of Pinar del Río, forming part of the Los Colorados archipelago. With lodgins that capitalize on the spectacular environment on this isle, Cayo Levisa is the ideal location for water sports enthusiasts. The beach is a mere three kilometers away and there are 23 diving points on the island shelf, which has numerous coral formations, an ideal location for snorkelling.

The Dominican Republic has one of the world's largest reserves of amber - petrified sap from trees that grew there 50 million years ago. The largest piece of amber found there weighed 21 pounds (9.5 kg).
