Se encuentran en el antiguo puerto minero de Puerto Viejo en la Península de Osa. De este lugar hay facilidad de acceso para llegar al Parque Nacional Corcovado y a Golfo Dulce, unos de los recursos naturales más espectaculares de Costa Rica. El bosque lluvioso de Corcovado es el mejor lugar para observar animales grandes, en el Golfo se ven delfines y ballenas.
