A program under the name of 'Colors of Mexico' was announced by the Secretariat of Tourism of the Aztec country, in order to paint and beautify the 121 Magical Villages of the Mexican territory.
Miguel Torruco Marques, in charge of the aforementioned secretariat, stressed that the fact that these places receive this designation allows them to have an average increase of six percent more in visitor reception than any other tourist destination.
Torruco said the program will have the support of the federal government in alliance with Comex and state and municipal governments where each Magical Village is.
He insisted that: "You have to paint the house to make them beautiful. The private sector will continue to play an important role in prioritizing these expenses and ensuring that their inhabitants have a better quality of life, including the areas surrounding the tourist regions," he added.
As part of a working tour of San Luis Potosi, Torruco Marques met with state officials and businessmen of the tourism sector to make a tour of the tourist spots of the entity.
