The IBTM Americas 2019 Fair is held from today until tomorrow May 30th at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City, with the intention of surpassing the issues of last year’s Edition.
Around 3,800 visitors, 800 qualified buyers from around the world and 600 companies participate in this event and it is expected that 13,000 business appointments will be generated, which would be equivalent to about 1 billion dollars.
At the conferences held on the first day of IBTM Americas Fair 2019, speakers agreed that the meeting industry contributes 1.5 trillion dollars to the global GDP and generates 26 million jobs worldwide; according to a study by the Events Industry Council.
The Director in Mexico of Brand USA, guest country, thanked IBTM Americas for appointing the United States and said that the nation according to ICCA statistics, has consolidated itself as the number one country in the realization of congresses at world level and with the greatest connectivity among destinations of the Continent.
