The XXVI National Congress of the Industry of Meetings (CNIR), which will be held at the International Convention Center, Los Cabos, from August 21st to 23rd, will have about 600 national assistants, plus special guests.
The participants in the event are mainly owners, general directors and area directors (73.2% of the participants) with the power to make decisions.
Jaime Salazar Figueroa, President of the Mexican Council of Meetings Industry (COMIR), acknowledged that the CNIR aims to contribute to the professionalization and competitiveness of those who make up the value chain of the meeting industry in Mexico.
Luis Humberto Araiza López, Secretary of Tourism, Economics and Sustainability (SETUES) of Baja California, expressed his satisfaction with the election of Los Cabos as the venue for this edition of the National Congress of the Industry of Meetings, whichit will allow to highlight the tourist attributes of the state.
He also said that it is an important contribution to the promotion and consolidation of the tourism industry of meetings in the country, which currently has a positive impact on GDP, with a good projection of growth.
The event will feature five master conferences on Gender Diversity and Business Inclusion; International Trends in the Meeting Industry: Experiences, How to Create a Fantastic Destination in a Desert; the Socioeconomic and Political Environment of Mexico; and Millenials and Their Interaction With other Generations.
