Latam Airline Expands Its Flights on Route Medellín-Bogotá

Latam Airlines expands its services on the Medellín-Bogotá route, as part of its strategy of strengthening operations from 10 to 16 flights from Monday to Friday.

According to Latam’s announcement, it will expand by 54% the available chairs compared to 2018, targeting the corporate market.

The fact that Medellin is the second city in Colombia with a high domestic operation for the airline influenced in the decision to expand the flights, and since the previous year it directed its plan to reach an increase of 22.4% when operating more than 9.800 flights to and from Medellin, transporting 3.500 passengers approximately per day.

Santiago Alvarez, Director of Latam Airlines Colombia, acknowledged to the press that with the plan they intend to double their services in the next 4 years, and on June 1st they already began the first phase of this program.
