The Space European Office has a launching site in Kourou.
The Excelencias Cuba Awards will be presented this Wednesday at a gala tribute in the Covarrubias Hall, of the National Theater, by the President and Editor-in-Chief of the Excelencias Group, José Carlos de Santiago.
On the occasion of the activities for Havana's 500th anniversary, this new edition of the Excelencias Awards will take place, which has already accumulated more than 119 awards in the Island until 2017.
The purpose is to honor personalities, social projects and institutions linked to tourism, gastronomy, the automotive universe, culture, education, art and society.
In this edition, the Blue and Green awards are a novelty, which value the effort towards the care of the environment and sustainable development.
Although the first edition of the Excelencias Awards in Cuba was held in 2011, it is worth remembering that since 2005 institutions and personalities from the Greater Antilles have been awarded.
This Wednesday 20th there will be a very special night, when the winners corresponding to 2018 will be announced.
