The EXCELENCIAS Awards, created 14 years ago by the Excelencias Group with the aim of promoting the best in areas related to tourism, gastronomy and culture in Latin America, will be handed out during the International Fair FITUR 2019, in Madrid.
The award ceremony is scheduled for January, Wednesday 23 d at 5 p.m., in Pavilion 3, aisle A, of the event.
These awards have become a benchmark in the field of tourism and gastronomy in Latin America.
There will be 21 awards of the TOURIST EXCELLENCE AWARDS to projects from 13 countries (Spain, United States, Dominican Republic, Ecuador - Quito, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Brazil - Foz de Uguazu, Peru, El Salvador, Mexico - States of Oaxaca, Yucatan and Nayarit, with the presence of Ministers, Governors, Secretaries of Tourism, Directors General and Personalities from the tourism sector.
As for the GOURMET EXCELLENCE AWARDS, 11 prizes will be awarded to projects/persons from 3 countries. (Spain, Mexico - State of Coahuila, Paraguay) in the ceremony which will be attended by renowned chefs, sommeliers and personalities from the international gastronomic field.
