Dominican Republic offers tourist information through line 462

A free 462 line to access tourist information may be used by those interested, based on the agreement signed between the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) and the Presidential Office of Technologies, Information and Communication (OPTIC), and will allow access to the Citizen Service Center.

From the signing of this agreement updated information will be guaranteed on the services offered by the entity, which cover more than 50 on tourism activity and industry and this year is expected that about 100 state institutions offer the service.

Through five lines, the Mintur will provide citizens with information on the promotion of local and international tourist attractions, hotel licenses, gift shops, restaurants, tourist transport, travel agencies, among others.

Line 462 will allow to optimize time and costs, and represents an option of wired and wireless access at national level from any telephone service provider and will be available for Dominicans and foreigners.

The requirements of travel agency operating license, travel agency license, Bookings, tickets and tour license, among others, will be provided, too.
