Preparations for the inauguration of ExpoCaribe 2019 on the 19th at the Cultural Center Heredia, Santiago de Cuba, go well and the exhibition areas of the different products and services are ready; while adjusting details in the tourist facilities to ensure the comfort of the participants.
ExpoCaribe 2019, the second most important trade fair in Cuba, will be extended until June 22nd, and according to information so far, 22 countries and nearly 200 Cuban companiesconfirmed its presence. Most of them,from the eastern provinces; which exceeds expectations of participation.
Among the participants countries appear Trinidad and Tobago, Granada, Surinam, Saint Lucia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Panamaand Holland
Participants will include Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), as well as ministers, ambassadors and senior representatives in the economic sphere of the Greater Caribbean and Europe.
ExpoCaribe 2019will host the 12th Greater Caribbean Business Forum, sponsored by the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), which count on the presence of several agencies of the region, such as Export TT from Trinidad and Tobago; Jamprofrom Jamaica; TEPA from Saint Lucia; Invest SVG from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and ProColombia.
The 20th Session of the Cuba-Mexico Business Committee will take place, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, as well as the meeting of the Administrative Commission of the Partial Trade Agreement between Cuba and Guatemala.
The Forum envisages a Business Round on June20th and 21st, as well as Seminars on ACS issues such as trade, transport, multidestination tourism, investment and cooperation in the Greater Caribbean.
Participants and their companions will have access to other options that reflect Caribbean interculturality in eastern Cuba, including different artistic presentations, fashions, culinary arts and visits to El Cobre Shrine, museums and other sites of historical and social interest in the region
