Patrícia Rehder Galvao participated in the modernist movement and lead, together with Oswald Andrade, the magazine O Homen do Povo”. He also practiced journalism, working in several newspapers from Brazil and from abroad. Political committed, she went by Germany, where she was under the guard of the Gestapo, she fought in favor of the Popular Front in France and was jailed and tortured during the era of the Estado Novo (Getúlio Vargas). In 1945 she became part of the intellectuals of the socialist avant-gardist where she campaigned as a deputy en 1950. Among her main works we find: “Industry Park” (under the pseudo of Mara Lobo) and “The Famous Magazine” (together with Geraldo Ferraz)
