Havana, 1960 This actor`s parents were professional singers and he began acting when he was 10 years old in shows and children’s theaters in the television. He has developed a wide and versatile career, because, although his work is great in dramatic and humorous roles, he has also work as presenter and host of innumerable programs and national and international events. He has also participated as composer in 16 recording productions and he has made orchestrations for commercials, television series and theater shows. Since 1994 until 1999, he worked in the Colombian television, in soap operas such as Cafe con aroma de mujer, Eternamente Manuela or La madre. His last performances in the television have been in the series La otra cara and La maja desnuda, which were highly praised by the critics and the public. Since 1979, he has acted in almost 15 theater productions, such as Andoba and Santa Camila de Havana Vieja, true classics of the Cuban theater. In 1980, he worked, directed by Octavio Cortazar in El brigadista, his first film in the Cuban cinematography.
