Havana, 1953 This documentals director, graduated in Philosophy in the University of Havana. He has carried out an important work in the Studies of Educational Movie (CINED), where he worked for more than 20 years as scriptwriterand director of documentals. He has also carried out works with the ICAIC as production assistant in more than 30 cartoons. He made, for the Movie Studios of FAR, reports and TV programs for Farvision. He has also produced spots and other production works for this circle. He has participated in international movie events, television and video in Brazil, Guayana, Venezuela, Colombia and other countries. He has been a member of the jury in some of these festivals. He presently works as TV director in the Studios of the Cuban Television, where he is also a member of the group of Documentals Creation. His documentals have been exhibited in the United States, Spain, France, Gemany, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and the Dominican Republic. He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), the Association of Documental Makers of Latin America, the Network of the Latin America Children`s Audiovisual Universe (UNIAL) and the General Asociation of Authors and Editors (SGAE).
