Bogota is ready for the celebration of the Tourist Showcase of the Colombian Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism (Anato), which will take place from this February 27 until March 1.
In this event, the most important in Colombia, the tourist offer of more than 35 countries and all Colombian regions will be announced, and Guatemala and El Salvador will have special promotion as international destinations.
Statistics from the Civil Aeronautics indicate that the number of travelers transported on flights between Colombia, Guatemala and El Salvador show an increasing trend, and recognize that in 2017 there was the largest registration of international passengers: 167,215.
Prior to the celebration of the Tourist Showcase of the Colombian Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism (Anato) was recognized how the Central American subcontinent gains greater relevance in global tourism.
Figures released by Colombia Migration indicate that in 2017 a record number of Colombians leaving for Central American and Caribbean destinations was reached with 1,148,844 million people, which represented an increase of 7.8% compared to 2016.
