Caricom Today announced that in order to achieve uniformity the Caribbean Arts Festival (Carifesta) will have a permanent logo from the 14th Edition in Trinidad and Tobago from August 15th to 26th.
The new Edition of Carifesta, an important cultural event in the region, will be developed under the tangible and intangible slogan: Connect, Share, Invest; and it will bring together artists and culture professionals for 10 daysfrom about 30 countries in the region.
Previously, according to the country where the festival was held its logo was created, but recently it was madethe decision to always remain the same logo, as approved at the meeting of the Council for Human and Social Developmentheld in Georgetown
The event in its 14th Edition will feature national nights, film festivals, literature and arts and a super concert with an outstanding representation of the Caribbean artistic work, among other activities.
It will be the fourth time that Trinidad and Tobago will host Carifesta while Port of Spain hosted the event in 1992, 1995 and 2006.
