Accor French Hotel Chain Gains Space in Latin America

The French hotel chain Accor after a rearrangement occupies an important place in Brazil and other Latin American countries, where it will open several hotels, said Victor Maranhao, its Sales Manager.

Maranhao said that the firm assimilated Inns, BHG and Atton Hotels and it plans to open 50 hotels in Brazilian destinations in the next two years, as it represents a very powerful market.

He disclosed the opening of Sofitel, in Mexico, and Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, and he highlighted that the Sofitel is an emblematic property with a modern design, while al Fairmont has been closed for two years and it is completely renovated.

Maranhao explained that "in terms of distribution today we manage an Omnichannelconcept; we make great efforts to work direct sales and at the same time work strongly with trade that allows us to reach important niches and markets."

He added that they have a new loyalty program for customers where all the properties of Accor are integrated and it will have a partnership with more than 60 companies to offer the best experience, while they are sponsors of Borussia Dormund.
