Theater in Bermudas is very active. There are theater groups that perform in the most important stages of the island. It’s worth mentioning two important theater companies: the group of musical theater Gilbert and Sullivan and the comedy company Hasty Pudding Theatricals. The former is a totally volunteer organization which is well known in Hamilton because it presents every year a wide production. The Society sites in Hamilton’s City Hall in Church Street. It’s seasons last 2 weeks usually in October. Bermuda is the only place besides Cambridge where the comedy company Hasty Pudding Theatricals has performed during the College Weeks since the 60s. the performances are held in the City Hall Theatre on Church Street in Hamilton city.
