Carriacou's local drink is jack-iron, a brew so strange and strong that ice sinks in it.
Located in the homonymous town, together with the square, it bears witness to Colonial construction. By 1598, Old Simón Bolívar (fifth paternal grandfather of El Libertador) helped build it.
