Santa Ana National Theater

Santa Ana National Theater is indeed an truly artistic gem. Opened in 1910 and mostly bankrolled with profits from coffee trade, it stands for one valuable piece in El Salvador’s cultural heritage. Its elegant facade featuring arched doors, as well as its interiors with boxes, balconies, galleries, gilt-rimmed details, Italian murals, old-timed mirrors and glass hanging lamps, still keeps its ancient splendor. Every year, this theater hosts a program of theatricals, musicals, dancing performances and cultural shows staged by both local and foreign companies.
