In the highest part of this country, we can found the Atitlán lake, and is guarded by the volcanos Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro.
Ubicado en un pequeño cerro este parque es, a la vez, un jardín botánico y un parque infantil. El jardín botánico agrupa gran diversidad de especies de la flora salvadoreña. En la parte sur oriente del parque se encuentra el Museo de Historia Natural.
