The Iguazu Falls are comparable to paradise, such are their charms and their magnificence. There are few places like this in the world. From the entrance you can see the water falling in a continuous flow that transmits a singular freshness, as if it splashed not only the skin of those who come to contemplate it, but also its interior, allowing you to inhale all its beauty and magic together with the pure air of the environment.

This jewel of nature is located within the Iguazú National Park, northeast of the Province of Misiones, a few minutes from Puerto Iguazú, a city that has the particularity of bordering Brazil and Paraguay. It is in this locality where the famous landmark of the Triple Border is formed, something rarely seen in the world.

Neither the best chosen words nor the images in photography or video in high resolution give an exact idea of the beauty of the Iguazú Falls, a natural place that attracts ecotourism lovers.

They are an opportunity to establish a romance with the environment, to be part of the beauties it gives us, of the biodiversity of this place distinguished by the presence of endemic, rare, vulnerable and endangered species.

There is no one who can escape so much natural wonder, choose this place to walk its trails, see the wildlife, the exuberance of the jungle landscape is a proposal to dream, and why not think about organizing a trip to discover so much beauty?

Every year more than one million tourists come to the Iguazu Falls, which have 275 waterfalls that fall from different heights, more than 2 kilometers. The best known of them is, without a doubt, the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat).

Once inside the park, the visitor has the possibility of taking the so-called Ecological Train of the Jungle, which with a speed that does not exceed 20 km / h, in order not to affect the environment, leads to the headwaters of the main trails.

You reach the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) in this tourist train that crosses the jungle until it reaches some footbridges, to access a viewpoint where the view is fabulous and the splashing of the water refreshes and gives an incomparable sensation.

The landscape, of an almost surreal exoticism, offers diverse tonalities. The image of this site is paradigmatic among the landscapes not only of Argentina but of the whole world, reason among others to declare the Iguazu Falls as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World. In addition, since 1984, they have been considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

The visit to the Iguazu Park adds up to a total of about 6 km of walking, divided into three important trails. It is interesting to start with the Lower trail (1400m), then the Upper trail (650m) and finish at the aforementioned Gorge.

The adventure of a boat ride in the Iguazu Falls is ideal for adrenaline junkies, as it is impressive to be so close to the waterfalls, to feel the roar of the water as it falls, to get wet with its spout.

Many tourists who go on a three-day tour visit the San Ignacio Miní Ruins -one of the greatest legacies of the Jesuits- and the Wanda Mines. Both destinations are located a few kilometers away from Puerto Iguazú, but they are worth a visit to mix a bit of history and culture with the scenic beauty of the sacred waters.

It is worth remembering that the name "Iguazú" in the Guaraní language means "big water". Those who come here, besides the waterfalls and everything that surrounds the Park, will find jungle hotels, typical flavors, extreme nature, the warmth of the people and very good connectivity, which is very welcoming for visitors.

If you travel to Argentina you should not miss the Iguazu Falls. Undoubtedly, a place to make your most cherished dreams come true.
