This city is one of the two prefectures of the island and is located in the Caravelle peninsula, which is one of the most beautiful places in the island, especially in the tip of Baie du Tresor and Chateau Dubuc. Today it is an important tourist place and a recreational center for the inhabitants of the island, who enjoy its beaches on the weekends. It has a small town but with a great architectonic and historical attraction. You may visit its restaurants and stay in one of its hotels as "Le Manguier" Hotel, which offers a good service at good prices and a wonderful view of the bay.It is full of crops and beautiful flowers which have created its own legend.
