Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro is the capital of the province of the same name. This province has an extension of 8 917 Km2 and it lies west of the country on the Caribbean coast. It is bounded by the Caribbean Sea to the north and northeast, to the south by Chriquí and Veraguas provinces, to the east by Veraguas and to the west by Costa Rica. The Bocas del Toro city is located in Colón Island, on the Atlantic coast, 300 miles away from the city of Panamá. Colón, Bastimentos, Solarte, Keyo de Agua and San Cristóbal islands are also part of this archipelago.
