Colombia is formed by different ethnic groups reflected in its culture. The different roots and traditions of Indians, Spanish and Africans has resulted in an interesting fusion, as reflected in its rich folklore, the richness of its art and the great variety of handicrafts, particularly expressed in the sculpture and the music. The pre-Columbian art consists of stone sculpture, pottery and precious metal works.
