She is director and sript writer of documental and fiction films made in movies of 35 mm and 16 mm, as well as in video. She has also been assistant director in TV series. She studied Informational Design and she got her degree in Art History. She has also received post grade courses in dramatist, semiotics, aesthetics, stage play and history of Africa. She has been outstanding due to her work in the documental movie, she was awarded national and internationally. She was a war correspondent in Africa and in the Middle East. She has filmed reports in Syria and El Congo and she has made documentals in Lebanon, Angola and Spain. She has given international courses and conferences on movie in the International Movie School of San Antonio de los Baños, in Spain, United States and Latin America. She is presently a Permanent Professor of the Faculty of Audiovisual Aids in the Superior Institute of Art in Havana. She was decorated with the Distinction for the Nacional Culture and the National Prize of Journalism Jose Marti, given by the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC). She is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the Union of Journalism of Cuba (UPEC).
