San Salvador, 1968 Walter Iraheta is no doubt one of the premiere artists of El Salvador's fine arts. He graduated from the National Arts Center in 1986 and then studied in the Carlos Alberto Imery School of Applied Arts at the Jose Matias Delgado University between 1991 and 1995. He was chosen Young Talent in 1992 and four years later in 1996 he grabbed the first place at the Palmares Diplomat National Young Painters' Contest.A year later, he nabbed the first place at the Central American Painting Biennial.
