Santiago de Cuba, 1947 He studied in the National School of Art, Cubanacan (1965-1970), where he worked as professor (1970-1985). He has been a professor and the head of the Painting Department of the Superior Institute of Art (ISA) and he has been part of the professor’s senate of engraving in that institute. He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the International Association of Fine Artists (AIAP). Order for the Nacional Culture, Order Alejo Carpentier.
