Jamaica participated in Routes Americas

Jamaica participated as a tourist and business destination in Routes Americas the regional meeting held February 12-14 in Quebec, Canada, aimed primarily at attracting new flights, air routes and airlines to the Caribbean island.

The presentation of that destination was supported by the Pacific Airport Group, which currently operates Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport and won the license to operate Kingston's Norman Manley International Airport.

Routes Americas held meetings to link the Caribbean island with airlines from Canada, the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

Outstanding were the negotiation exchanges with American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, British Airways, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Southwest, United Airlines, and TUI among others.

The Pacific Airport Group is committed to Jamaica and its recognition as an extraordinary destination for its natural beauty and excellent tourist offer, as well as an attractive market for foreign investment that promotes sustainability, economic and social development of the country.
