Tucuman bets on rural community-based tourism

The community-based rural tourism modality is a novel trend for which, during the previous year, about 20,000 international tourists in the Argentine province of Tucuman bet on.

That figure may increase in 2019, as many travelers go to that tourist destination in order to discover the best natural nooks and crannies in a different way.

Tucuman offers the possibility of staying in hotels located in truly unique natural areas, such as the Choromoro Valley, agricultural farms and very old buildings found throughout the Argentine province.

Tourists can stay in a rural house, participate in the activities of the area and be in contact with the environment, through hiking, visits to archaeological sites or sport fishing.

This type of tourism offers the possibility of knowing the best proposals as far as the traditional gastronomy is concerned.
