Tourists promote Dominican beaches' quality

Vacationers visiting the Dominican Republic have become the main promoters of the quality and beauty of its beaches.

The latest Opinion Poll, Attitude and Motivation prepared by the Central Bank of the Caribbean island indicated that 41.9% of those surveyed said they received information from friends who visited the country, 33.4% of travel agencies, while online they knew details 17.9% and by other media 6.8%.

The survey is conducted when travelers return after enjoying the beaches and 31.3% praise them, while the climate highlights 19.1%, hospitality 17.4%, friends and related 12.0%), reasonable prices 8.1%), and work 4.9%, among others.

The answers provided by travelers place the Dominican Republic as a competitive destination.

71.9% of the tourists considered that the prices are acceptable, 18.2% as low/very low and only 8.2% catalogued them high/very high.
