Air Century to Increase Connectivity in the Caribbean

Air Century flights will have a greater presence in the Caribbean in 2019, when the airline will reach other destinations such as Antigua, Tortola and Jamaica.

Omar Chahin, Air Century president, announced that with these four additional islands, including its recent operation with Cuba, it will add up to nine the number of countries to which Air Century flies.

Something that will favor multi-destination is the purpose of that airline to connect the Dominican Republic with the entire Caribbean.

Chahin said that to fly to Antigua, Tortola and Jamaica already have the permits and expect to start with two or three flights a week in March and April 2019 and later will increase frequencies based on demand.

Regarding Cuba, he pointed out that they expect it to increase to four or five frequencies per week.

This Dominican airline has been in the aviation market for more than 25 years, and its main objective is charter or executive flights throughout the Caribbean, Central America, South America and the United States.

Two or three years ago they entered regular passenger flights.

First they started with Port-au-Prince and Haiti, where they already have nine frequent flights a week, then San Juan Puerto Rico, San Martin, Aruba and Curaçao, with a daily flight from Monday to Saturday to each destination.

Flights to the islands have been well received, especially by travelers who go sightseeing and shopping.
